| 22 May 2009, Acquarica di Lecce - Just a quick note to say that I'm almost there. I can't elaborate much because my health consultant has ordered that I go straight to bed so I can be in good form for my last day of walking tomorrow. Fifty kilometers yesterday and 40 today have done wonders for my feet so if I want to have an even chance of being able to walk tomorrow I will have to get horizontal very quickly. The heat here in southeastern Italy has become intense and that is also taking its toll on my power to reason in a coherent way.
Tomorrow, provided I make it to Otranto (about 30 kilometers away) and live to tell about it, I'll make up for not posting properly today.
